QIs my mitigation data public information?
No. Your data is private and only shared via our ESA Check API with software that uses it for compliance verification. We only use your field mitigations when applications are made to your field by applicators using ESA Check.
QIs any of my field data shared with the government?
No. It is your data and we do not share it with any government entity. Your field and mitigation information remains private and under your control.
QCan I opt my fields out from being shared on the Exchange?
Yes. You have full control over your fields and can choose which fields are enrolled in the Exchange. If you opt out, your mitigation data will not be available for compliance verification when applications are made.
QWhat does it cost to use ESA Field Exchange?
ESA Field Exchange is completely free for growers to manage runoff mitigations and generate runoff reports. We do intend to have a paid service for the growers who want more active ESA compliance with all of their applications being made.
QHow do I add my fields?
You can draw your fields directly on our map or import them via shapefiles. We can also assist with bulk importing field data if you have many fields to add.
QWho can see my compliance records?
Only you and applicators who use ESA Check when making applications to your enrolled fields. Your compliance records are not publicly visible and are only accessed during the compliance verification process.
QHow does the connection with applicators work?
When an applicator uses software integrated with our ESA Check API to verify compliance before an application, your documented mitigations are automatically associated with that application. This creates a verifiable compliance record for both parties without requiring any manual coordination.
